Digging Deeper Track
Creation Unraveled: The Gospel According to Genesis
JeffBrooks and Tye Lamberth - Auditorium
This study takes a deeper look into the stories of Genesis, stories that often feel outdated and all too familiar. But the Bible isn't a collection of stories—it's one story, God's story of bringing us back to Himself. The story of Genesis is actually the story of Jesus, and it's as relevant today as it was "in the beginning." Join us as we examine Genesis 1-11 and explore how the first chapters of the Bible lay the foundation for the gospel of Jesus Christ-the good news of salvation and redemption that we find only in relationship with Him.
Faith-Based Families Track
Marriage Enrichment
Dick and Lora McGinn - Kidz Praise Room
This class will focus on the importance of ‘enrichment’ in a marriage. Presentation and discussion will focus on positive insights related to ‘Healthy, Happy and Lasting Marriages’, with the intention of enriching all our marriages. Since the class will be a dialogue instead of a lecture format, those who attend class are requested to please plan to participate in open discussion as a class (smaller sub-groups will not be used).
Being Disciples and Making Disciples Track
Living in the Word of God
Jay Jarboe and Rich Pietrucha - Fellowship Room
Our identity as followers of Jesus is rooted in the character and nature of God. Jesus tells us that “if we abide in His word, we are truly His disciples” (John 8:31-32). In this discussion-oriented class, we will use a Discovery Bible Study method. This approach will help us to come to a better understanding of God’s nature and allow Him to shape our lives as imitators of Him. We will work in groups to encounter the word and seek to live as obedient disciples throughout the week.
