I’m Karen Black and I have been the Administrator at Lake Cities Church of Christ for the past 5 years (since March, 2004). I absolutely love serving at Lake Cities and being a part of this church.

I have a wonderful husband, Steve, of 24 years (May, 1985), and two wonderful children, Chris, who attends Abilene Christian University and Carla who just graduated from Faith Christian School in Grapevine, and will attend Texas Tech University in the fall of 2009. I could not be more proud of my kids. We have a yorkie named Lucy who we love to spoil. We have lived in Trophy Club for nine years.

Attended Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas for one year and Abilene Christian University for one year.

HOBBIES:
Riding our Seadoo’s, snow skiing, reading, Stampin’ Up (former hobby that I would still love to do, but don’t really have time for anymore).
DISLIKES:
People who don't pay attention to their driving because they are on their cell phone.
ODD FACT:
Not really odd, but something you might not expect – in high school I showed steers at Stock Shows and also rode horses and participated in rodeos and barrel and pole racing at Play Days.
