Congratulations to the Lake Cities LTC Team for their incredible effort in learning the book of Acts. Both teams were awarded a bronze medal at the competition but will forever be viewed a gold medal champions to our church family for the effort they gave in preparation and competition, the enthusiasm they displayed for learning God’s word and for the example they set for our entire congregation. A special "fabulous" Thank You goes to Leslie Miller for her heart and hard work with this wonderful group of future leaders for Christ.

Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) is a program designed for children and youth from 3rd-12th grade. Lake Cities participates in the North Texas Chapter of LTC, which is held in Dallas, Texas on Easter Weekend. The program consists of events and challenges such as Bible Bowl, Bible Quiz, Service Challenge, Teaching Challenge, Art, Chorus, Christian Drama, Christian Puppets performances, Bible Reading, Speech, Song Leading, and Daily Devotional Challenge.

LTC gives our young people the opportunity to develop skills in the areas of teaching and serving others as well as expanding their knowledge of the Bible with Bible Bowl and Bible Quiz.  LTC Practices are every Wednesday evening from 5:30 – 6:30.

The theme for 2007 is "Unstoppable" from Acts, which will also be the focus for Bible Bowl and Bible Quiz. It will be held April 6-8 in Dallas at the Reunion Hyatt. For more information, please contact Leslie Miller.
