The Cherrys are part of a church-planting mission team due to arrive in New Zealand in early 2008. One third of the nation’s population resides in Auckland (1.4 million). This city is the commerce center of the South Pacific. This team is being coached by Alan Phillips (Missions Resource Network) and Charles Speer (Sunset).

In 2000, the Providentia congregation was planted in this city of 5.5 million people and is one of the fastest growing churches of christ in South America. We partner in their working fund. The Emerys have two children, Savannah and Haydn. They have a commitment through 2009.
