Dominican Republic

Refuge Youth Ministry is going the Dominican Republic this summer July 22-29. There is space for 8 guys and 8 girls. Refuge will be working with Manna International and the orphanage in the DR. Deposits are due by 1-18-08 and there are many other deadlines associated with this trip so prayerfully consider today being a part of this incredible short term mission experience! Refuge Youth Ministry is the Student Ministry of Lake Cities Church of Christ that is devoted to our High School students. Grades 9th-12th meet every Sunday and Wednesday in the youth room for a time of spiritual growth, encouragement and refueling for the challenges we face in our everyday lives. You won't always find us at the church building! We love to help our friends at Fortress in downtown Ft. Worth, get out in our community and this summer we will be taking a trip to the Dominican Republic to serve our family there. We love to worship God, encourage one another, share a meal or two at Chili's and help each other with the everyday struggles of being a believer in Jesus. If you need a place to feel safe and welcomed, we would love to have you! If you need a place that can help you meet Jesus, where ever you are at, we would love to have you!
