UNDER THE ONE
May/June 2008
Imagine a science teacher conducting an experiment that set out to see what makes people wise and happy. He begins with a hypothesis, attempts test after test, comes to a conclusion and then shares his detailed notes with the rest of us. That teacher is Solomon and the notes are the book of Ecclesiastes. Join Lake Cities as we engage the expert experimenter in the book of Ecclesiastes. The teacher will make us wise by showing the futility of building our hopes on the material and social goods that are found under the sun. He will make us happy too, by showing how, when we fear the one true God, we can fully enjoy the good gifts that are found under the One.
